Rachel Levy
Rachel Levy is a block print artist, writer, and documentary filmmaker from South Florida. Her work centers on the intersections of environmental justice, eco-tourism, and ecosystem health.
Inspired by the natural wonders of Juneau, the work of writers like Mary Oliver, and her many travels, each block print is hand-carved into linoleum before being hand-printed in a cooperative art studio she shares with other makers on Douglas Island. Just like the many different plants and animals that inspire her work, no two prints are ever the same.
