Michelle Stewart is a Juneau based printmaker. Her work is inspired by the quiet moments found in nature — the lines, shapes, and shifting shadows that often go unnoticed. Each piece is carved and printed by hand, guided by her love of slow, intentional process.

Born and raised in Anchorage, Michelle left Alaska in 2009 and spent more than a decade living across the Lower 48 before returning home in 2023. She now lives on North Douglas with her dog, three cats, a small flock of chickens, and a supportive husband known for building her a DIY printing press.

You can find more of Michelle's work through this link akmichelle.com/links, or on social media @its.akmichelle.
